Bluff City Zero Tolerance Policy

Committed to creating a more pleasant atmosphere in our tourneys, we have adapted ACBL's Zero Tolerance Policy for  unacceptable behavior.  Here is what we expect of players and directors during our events.

1.  At the start of each event, the director shall make this announcement:
"
We do not allow badgering, rudeness, intimidation, profanity, threats, or disruptive arguing with a director's ruling.  If a player behaves in an unacceptable manner, call the director immediately.  The director will impose penalties upon substantiation of violation.

2.  Upon substantiation of unacceptable behavior, the director will impose a  one-trick disciplinary penalty to the team with the offender.  If established that both pairs offended, both shall receive an Average Minus.

3.  Multiple offenses or particularly egregious offenses may result in immediate removal from the tourney and/or our club.

4.  Directors are periodically provided with a list of Blacklisted Players.  Remove them quickly if they sneak in as subs.

5.  Warnings will be given only when there is no clear violation or in cases where the facts cannot be determined.  Regardless of who may have initiated unacceptable behavior, ALL offenses are punishable.  Retaliatory behavior is a punishable offense.

6.  A director's decision to impose a disciplinary penalty is final, but may be appealed from the link on our web page.
